Tim McKnight is the President and founder of One Disciple.
Tim is the lead pastor of Mosaic Church of Anderson, a multiethnic multigenerational church plant in Anderson, SC. He serves as the Director of the Global Center for Youth Ministry and Associate Professor of Youth Ministry and Missions at Anderson University.
He received his Master of Divinity in Missions from The Southern Baptist Seminary in 1996 and earned his Ph.D. in Missions, Evangelism, and Church History from the same seminary in 2003.
Tim served as youth pastor, associate pastor, and lead pastor in churches in West Virginia, Kentucky, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina. He also served as an infantry chaplain in the United States Army Kentucky National Guard, deploying on Operational Noble Eagle (2001) and Operation Enduring Freedom (2002). He is the author of No Better Gospel, a book describing the theology and methodology of evangelism of 18th century evangelist George Whitefield. He is currently working on two book projects in the field of youth ministry, one for Kregel Press and the other for B&H Academic.
Tim’s desire is to encourage Christ followers to be the one disciple God has called them to be as they walk side-by-side with other believers seeking to advance the gospel and using their spiritual gifts to serve the local church and the Kingdom of Christ.
