Jonathan Hayashi is the Editorial Director of Metanoia. Metanoia is a ministry of Moody Publishers with Today in the Word, a vision of transforming minds in the progression of the Christian life in order to be made new together in the midst of movement. 

Jonathan began his ministry as a pastoral staff at Uptown Baptist Church in Chicago, IL while he was a student in undergrad and seminary degree finishing his masters. Since his call to ministry, he has completed his degree in Doctorate of Educational ministry at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

Jonathan lives with his wife in the suburb of St. Louis with his two children where he serves as a pastor at Troy First Baptist Church. In addition to his ministry, he serves as a trustee at Southwest Baptist University and commissioner for the Missouri Commission of Human Rights. He is also a columnist, article writer and author.
